NQC Radio to Debut Daywind Releases

National Quartet Convention (NQC) Radio has joined with Daywind Records to debut their newest releases. Every Friday before a Daywind project is available in stores, NQC Radio will air the release from 10:00am until 12:00pm EST.

“We are delighted with the opportunity to debut Daywind Releases on NQC Radio. We feel like this will be a wonderful service for the fans and supporters of all Southern Gospel music to be able to hear new projects before they actually arrive at the marketplace,” stated NQC Executive Vice President, Clarke Beasley.

Ed Leonard, President of Daywind Records adds, “The National Quartet Convention is a great showcase for our artists. We have chosen NQC Radio to help us premiere our new releases as part of an overall Internet marketing initiative, which we hope, will enhance the exposure of Gospel music in this medium.”

The Perrys’ new project, Come Thirsty, from Daywind Records will be the first release to be featured, on Friday, June 16, 2006. Come Thirsty will be available in your local Christian bookstore on Tuesday, June 20, 2006.

NQC Radio is a free 24/7 Internet radio station on the National Quartet Convention’s website, www.natqc.com. It is one of only a few major Southern Gospel web casts that broadcast at 64 kbps, which makes the broadcast CD quality for the listener. The non-stop station features the latest from Southern Gospel artists, who are set to appear on the National Quartet Convention main stage. NQC will take place from September 11th – 16th.

Daywind Records is based in Hendersonville, TN, and is distributed worldwide through New Day Christian Distribution and Word Entertainment / WEA. Daywind is home to artists such as Triumphant Quartet, Greater Vision and the Crabb Family, among others.
